I didn't read the details carefully enough when I bought a similar set and was very surprized at how tiny they were. That said, they are fun to play with. That said, the red and pearl white look great and the magnetic quality of the balls is on par with most of these magnetic toys. They hold together well and can be shaped however one may desire. This set comes in a nice tin and is well secured in foam contained within the tin. No worries about the cube coming loose or losing balls during shipping. I'm not sure how much a sig other would appreciate these as "love gift", but overall they are a different toy or novelty to have around. I can recommend this set, even paying the slight premium for the red and pearl colors.
